Storyteller Saga

Steffanie’s known for her mind-blowing plot twists and has published a lineup of contemporary, suspense, and hockey romance novels. Her project is a perfect example of why I set out to help authors shape their brand and online presence. She already had a website but felt it was missing that cohesive, storytelling vibe and wanted a smoother, more user-friendly layout.

We started by nailing down Steffanie’s brand. Since her stories are packed with twists that make you think, I imagined a light/dark academia aesthetic with a cozy, mysterious feel. She wanted a neutral color palette, but definitely not something sterile—so we went with warm brown tones and vintage, antique-inspired elements, like you’re exploring the hidden corners of the Boston Public Library.

Then came her website overhaul, starting with a homepage that really introduces Steffanie’s story to both loyal readers and new visitors. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and packs a punch with a bold, striking design.

The result? Steffanie now has a stunning, cohesive brand that brings her storytelling style to life.
